Angry Black Gxrl Art began in April 2021 after founder, DeJanae (she/they) discovered resin art as a form of art therapy. DeJ used resin pouring, painting and eventually jewelry making to overcome the grief and loss of 2020. Now, after almost two years, DeJ strives to create pieces inspired by queer, Black, and stoner cultures, that also reflect their own bubbly, no-filter personality.
